CF International Film Series: "XXY"

Fifteen-year-old Alex has enough to deal with growing up, but born as an intersexed child, he/she is raised quietly in a small town in Uraguay to avoid cruelties from the outside world. When a plastic surgeon is invited for gender reassignment surgery, he brings his teenage son Alvaro along with him. Soon sexual attraction complicates an already tense situation in this sensitive, emotionally moving film. In Spanish with English subtitles; 90 mins.
