An Immersive Healthcare Experience
The Exploring Careers in Healthcare Opportunities (ECHO) program at Western Missouri MedialCenter is a week-long camp for current high school students to explore theexciting world of healthcare careers. ECHO Camp provides students with an inside look at the medical field through job shadowing, hands-on activities, and interactive demonstrations led by WMMC healthcare professionals. Participants will explore departments such as:
- Emergency Department
- Obstetrics
- Diagnostic Imaging
- Laboratory Services
- And many more!
Two sessions will be available this summer:
- June 9–13
- July 28–August 1
Sessions areheld from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Western Missouri Medical Center.
Who can apply?
ECHO Camp is open to current high school students and May 2025 graduates. Applicants must complete the online application below, which includes:
- A letter of recommendation from a non-relative adult
- A one-page essay describing their interest in healthcareand goals for attending the camp
Program Fee & Scholarships
