After two plus years, Texas Rose Rides again! It has been way too long since we have danced with y'all.
Please join us on SaturdayAUGUST 13th back at the Lake Merritt Dance Center!
We have been inspired to re-open by Sundance Saloon who has had no covid transmissions because they have had everyone wear masks. We plan to do the same thing. Masks will be required.
We plan to do our best to keep everyone safe. LakeMerritt Dance Center has purchased air purifiers so that we can do our best to keep the air as clean as possible. We will be renting a 2nd room for snacks and drinks.
Sheila Schlicht will teach beginning two step and Michael Metzger will teach the line dance, "Give Me Shivers."

TEXAS ROSE COUNTRY/WESTERN DANCE
TexasRose is a Womxn's trans-inclusive dance community. We host monthly dances on the 2nd Saturday.
$10-20 sliding scale
$5 with student ID
Texas Rose is an all age unique no-attitude event. Come on out and see how sexy cowboi dancing really is. Great to be in community, awesome country music, and our usual yummy buffet.
It makes a difference if beginners attend the 6:30 two-step lesson. (Arriving on time will seriously pay off. :) We welcome newcomers -- friendly advanced dancers will help you along the way.
Leather-soled shoes are best. But not necessary.
