Join Oxbow Meadows partners the Chattahoochee Valley Beekeeping Association for workshops designed for all different ages. Learn about he amazing pollinators that we all know and how we can care for them. These workshops are perfect for anyone, whether you have a student interested in exploring the world around them or if you are a life long learner in search of a new experience.

All workshops are held at Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center!

2026 Beekeeping Course
Spring Beekeeper Course presented by the Chattahoochee Valley Beekeeping Association, hosted by Oxbow Meadows, is holding a six-week course that will take you from a beginner to a beekeeper! Designed for learners ages 14+.

February 21 - March 28, 2026
1:00-3:00pm

How much:
$100 per person
$50 for immediate family*

Included with Class Fee:
Classes, textbooks, handouts, one year membership with CVBA. Please note materials & membership are not provided to additional family registering at the $50 rate.

Ages:
Open to ages 14 and older.
All minors and participants ages 14-17 MUST have an adult present and also be registered for the workshop. Minor will not be allowed to participate otherwise.
