The Mid-Atlantic - Eurasia Business Council, Mid-Atlantic International Chambers, Associations, and World Trade Centers are continuing programs to showcase the history of the U.S. bid along with successful regional efforts which made New York and Philadelphia Soccer World Cup 2026 hosts; present some World Cup participating countries; and discuss the dynamic convergence of sports together with technology as well as new business opportunities for the Mid-Atlantic region. As FIFA recently announced, New York and Philadelphia have been selected to host a total of fourteen World Cup matches. Among these, is the highly anticipated Fourth of July game, taking place in Philadelphia, the historic site of America's Independence Day festivities. Furthermore, included among these fourteen matches is the prestigious World Cup Final, set for July 19, 2026, at the New York New Jersey Stadium, which serves as a global gathering of nations and captures the utmost global attention. The opportunity to host these events will undoubtedly benefit the Mid-Atlantic region, representing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our region to receive unprecedented month-long global attention, which will benefit the hospitality industry and nearly all others sectors of business in the area. We will conduct the next event on June 13, 2024, followed by other hybrid/in-person events leading up to June 2026 in New York and Philadelphia.
