Event Description

The Beatles travelled between Acton, in west London, and Minehead in the west of England, filming more of the train sequences in theirdebut film A Hard Day's Night. The train stopped briefly at Crowcombe Heathfield Station in Somerset, where The Beatles ran and cycled alongside theslow-moving train to taunt a fellow passenger, played by Richard Vernon.
