In commemoration of HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day, the National AIDS Memorial, in partnership with the San Francisco Queer Film Festival, invite you to join us at the world premiere of Surviving Voices: HIV Lifetime & Long-Term Survivors

More information: This is a Red Carpet Event & World Premiere of the mini-documentary, Surviving Voices: HIV Lifetime & Long-Term Survivors. See the film and meet some of the protagonists in person and in short, filmed interviews. Now in it’s 10th year and chapter, the National AIDS Memorial’s award winning AIDS oral history and film series “Surviving Voices” honors HIV Lifetime and Long-Term Survivors - those who acquired HIV at birth or as young children and those who acquired the virus before the availability of effective treatment in the mid 1990s.
Pre-Screening Reception Information:
Join us before the Red Carpet Arrival and Film Screening for a Pre-Screening Reception at 518 Valencia. Please note that the reception has a limited capacity. Guests will be admitted on a first come, first served basis.
Following the red carpet arrival, this 2 hour event will include the following:
Screening of mini-documentary, Surviving Voices: HIV Lifetime & Long Term Survivors
Screening of 3 filmed interviewees
Live Panel Discussion and Q&A
