Saturday, March 1st, 11:30 AM – 4:00 PM

In celebration ofWomen's History Month, join us on March 1st for an event honoring See RedWomen's Workshop, an all-female screen-printing collective active in the UK from 1974-1990. All three of the members of See Red Women's Workshop—PruStevenson, Suzy Mackie, and Anne Robinson—will be joining us for a paneldiscussion and poster-making workshop. Pru Stevenson and Suzy Mackie, thetwo surviving founding members will be traveling from the UK to join us in-person. Alongside the members of See Red, two local artists— Alexandra Fischer and Melanie Cervantes—will join to talk about their experiences as artists. The panel will be moderated by Grendl Löfkvist, Director of Type West at Letterform Archive.

Following the panel, a poster-making workshopwill be led by our Studio staff and volunteer, where participants will screenprint and customize multiple designs.

This is a FREE event. Everyoneis welcome, but please respect our intention. This event is a space for female-identifying people to express themselves.

12:00 - 1:00 PM: Panel Discussion—featuring original founding members, Pru Stevenson and Suzy Mackie, & local artists, Alexandra Fischer and Melanie Cervantes!

1:00 - 1:30 PM: Break for Lunch (provided by HSAC)

1:30 - 4:00 PM: Poster Making Workshop
