Savannah and Sarah, also known as The Church Sisters, grew up in Southwest Virginia. The girls began singing publicly after winning the WAKG Rising Stars Talent Competition in 2007. They went on to form a family band with their stepfather Jay and brother Seth and started touring their home state playing for small and large audiences. The Church Sisters released their first gospel album titled “Farther Along” at only 12 years old. Followed by two more self-produced albums: “There’s You” and a self-titled album.
After taking a break from making music together at the end of 2019, Sarah and Savannah made the decision to announce their reunion in 2022. The Church Sisters are now scheduling shows again featuring some of their most requested songs and some brand-new material.
