CCC debuts its new 41 Ross Design Store, a safe place for radical creativity, with a free, all day event that features artist meet and greets, lion dance performances, and an all ages read aloud event at 12pm with Panda Dulce, a San Francisco author and the founder of Drag Story Hour. Dulce will read from two picture books and be available for photos following the story time. Her new book, Queen Bees of Tybee County, will be available for purchase as well.

Numerous artists whose pieces are availableat the Store will be on hand to chat with the public including Amy Sueyoshi of Nikkei Jeans (repurposed denim accessories), Chunmei Cao (handcraftedcord pendants and accessories), Susan Lau (illustrations inspired by cats, beegachow, favorite foods, and fan art of beloved media), and others.The CCC Design Store, previously located within CCC’s gallery at 750 Kearny St., supports local and international API and queer artists and fostersan inclusive space for underrepresented communities.

Shoppers can enjoyfree boba tea, fortune cookies, and a 10% discount on purchases made that day.
