Explore over 200 years of history with a two mile walk through Hofwyl-Broadfield's past. This walk will feature the ruins of original plantation hour, rice field, and rice mill area of old slave settlement, plantation road, old spring gardens, and more!
Attendees will also be able to take part in regularly scheduled tours of the plantation house. The walk will be about 2 miles in length. Bring water and insect repellent. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
Plantation opens: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The walk starts at 10:30 a.m.
Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation, 5556 US Highway 17N, Brunswick, GA 31525; located at the intersection of US 17 and GA 99, one mile east of I-95, exit 42.
Cost: $8 adults; $7 seniors; $5 youth (6-17) and children ages 5 and under are free.
