Join the SexEd Works Coalition in a community event to pressure CPS to put youth first and fund comprehensive sexual health!
SexEd Works is a coalition of caregivers, youth, and educators advocating to ensure that all CPS students have access to high-quality, sexual education.
On August 20th, we will kick-off the community event with a press conference, followed by a community event and celebration. Press conference speakers will include Healing to Action survivor-leaders, youth, educators, and city council members.
Afterwards, we will center joy and celebration with food and a public action to move CPS to invest in our youth by funding additional training for CPS educators and provide caregivers with the resources and support to engage with youth in their communities.
In this space, we ask all folks to show up mindful of one another's needs as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic:
1. Masks are required indoors. Outdoor masking is option.
2. Please maintain 6 feet of distance from one another as much as possible.
3. If you're not feeling well, we ask that you stay home and heal. You can still support our work virtually by amplifying our social media messaging.
