Women's Park is Alexis's Park: Community Sidewalk Chalk Party

On Wednesday, November 4th, Alexis Hadac and Haylee Sandoval were chalking the sidewalk in Women’s Park with the young children they nanny when they were physically assaulted.

Alexis’ attacker, a white woman, demanded Alexis, a woman of color, stop chalking the sidewalk claiming “Women’s Park is my park” and sarcastically asking “where do you pay taxes and how much do you pay—I’m sure I pay a lot more than you.”
As a community let’s support Alexis & Haylee and show that we will not tolerate this kind of behavior in our park.
