Dorothy: One Year!!!

Dorothy is celebrating ONE YEAR of being open and working our way into your heart and the city of Chicago as their favorite lesbian bar and cocktail lounge!

We'll be doing it up and cheers-ing all night to celebrate this milestone and hope you join us. More details to come overall on the plan for the night, but know that from 8pm - Midnight you'll be getting down to a set by the one and only Psylo Soundz®.

Psylo Soundz® is an audio engineer and DJ from the north side of Chicago. Being born into a musically inclined family, Psylo was exposed to music long before they came out the womb. As the daughter of a renowned Chicago DJ, Psylo has taken advantage of the musical knowledge that seems innately apart of their being. From raw and authentic Chicago house music, to the grunginess of groups like The Clash and The Flying Lizards, Psylo's knowledge of music is apparent in their ever-changing selection. Though they're fairly new to the technicalities of mixing, mastering, and DJing, Psylo is no stranger to the delicate, tedious, but rewarding process of creating music. "My favorite part about the music-making process is cleaning the sound up. Creating that goosebump-inducing feeling. I love to be the reason why you love how a song sounds." Now an intern & current DJ student, Psylo continues to develop their skills in all facets.

RSVP + Entry is Free! Dorothy is 21+ and requires physical ID for all to enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Avenue. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, please stop by Split-Rail when you arrive or talk to our security person at our entry.
