Event Description

Historically, Trans/Gender Non-Conforming communities have been underserved and under-resourced, experiencing numerous health and social-economic disparities due to trauma, domestic violence, sexual assaults, molestation, racism, transphobia, and stigma. Chicago has experienced five Trans/Gender Non-Conforming deaths in 2021, the highest in the state of Illinois' history in one year.

Come join Black Trans activists, elected representatives, and other community members for a group discussion about community safety for Trans/Gender Non-Conforming communities. The Towm Hall will be facilated by Jae Rice, Director of Communications for Brave Space Alliance.

Christ Community Health will provide free COVID-19 Testing.
