Join us on August 20th for a night of sweet & soulful acoustic music featuring Jane O'Neill and mmush!
Headlining the night is JANE O’NEILL - a musician who uses her gentle sounds and soulful lyrics to captivate audiences and share her unique stories. As a queer singer-songwriter, Jane finds inspiration in her personal journey, using music as a medium to express her emotions and connect with others on a profound level. Jane describes her music style as Americana, blending elements of soul, folk, and rock to create a sound that’s both soothing and introspective. Her heartfelt melodies, accompanied by her warm and soulful voice, draw listeners into her world, inviting them to experience the depth of her emotions and the authenticity of her storytelling. She recently released her debut EP, “A Little More Freeâ€. With tracks that explore themes of self-discovery, love, and resilience, Jane's EP is a testament to her artistic vision and vulnerability.
Opening the evening is mmush! mmush (they/them) is the solo project of Akaelah Rain. A singer-songwriter based here in Chicago, their songs can be described as emotionally transparent musings. mmush writes soft acoustic songs about heartbreak, yearning, queerness and grief for the tender heart.
