Be the first to attend this event.
ArtNight is an event where you can share anything you want for 5 - 15 minutes. The only criteria is that you share something that you are passionate about. It doesn’t matter how talented, virtuosic, or famous you are - we’re here to celebrate your love for it. In addition to sharing, we facilitate meaningful dialogue and an activity in order to help people connect.
Our new initiative is called “The 77 Project†and is named after Chicago’s 77 Community Areas.
There are so many barriers holding us back from connecting with others. And it’s no secret that different socioeconomic statuses, races, and nationalities can contribute to that. With the 77 Project, our aim is to help people with diverse backgrounds connect with each other, and our goal is to bridge the gaps between disconnected neighborhoods in Chicago.
For our second "77 ArtNight," we are featuring three community areas: Auburn Gresham, Ashburn, and Austin. (Individuals from outside of these neighborhoods are most definitely welcome!) This free and virtual event will take place on Friday, September 25 at 8pm.
Anyone in your neighborhood, friend group, and family are welcome to come! You can sign up to attend (or share!) here: https://http://www.theartnightchicago.com/rsvp
