GAY PROM is back for the second year in a row in Dorothy's annual Pride kickoff event! Dress to the nines and come celebrate the prom you never got to experience.

Presented by Nelson's Greenbrier Distillery - entry is free along with our photobooth all night! Eric from Nelson's will be pouring Prom Punch to start the night and share this delicious spirit with our prom attendees.

We'll be celebrating the kickoff to Pride month from 6pm-Midnight accompanied by DJ Ca$h Era & TORi the Creator! DJ Ca$h Era will play from 6-9pm and TORi the Creator finishes the night from 9pm - Midnight. Dorothy remains open until 1am!

A lover of community, connection, and all things Chicago, CaSera Heining, best known as DJ Ca$h Era, continues to shake the room as a multifaceted, internationally recognized, performer. With over 10 years of professional experience, DJ Ca$h Era’s open-format and masterful mixing style has captivated crowds at a large variety of spaces such as nightclubs, bars, music festivals, private events, corporate galas, weddings, and much more. Winning the title of Chicago’s Best Hip-Hop DJ since 2021 by the Chicago Reader; DJ Ca$h Era is also one of the Official Atrium and Concourse DJs for the Chicago Bulls, member of the Jordan Brand's Global Women's Collective, and current preferred and resident DJ for Chicago’s hottest venues like Broken Shaker, Scarlet Bar, The Promontory, Soho House, and more. DJ Ca$h Era has worked with notable brands including Jordan, Nike, Akira, BET, Redbull, Beats by Dre, AT&T, Jugrnaut, and more.

TORi the Creator is a Black, non-binary, interdisciplinary artist who was born and is based in Chicago. They have been dedicated to community building since 2017, when they co-founded smallWORLD Collective, where they have been a space cultivator and event producer. TORi's eclectic skill set includes DJing, graphic design and jewelry making. They are a true creative force, and their artistry is fueled by their passion for music, movement, and liberation. TORi's unique perspective and innovative approach to their craft make them an exciting and dynamic artist to watch.

Dorothy is 21+ and requires physical ID for all to enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Avenue. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, please wait by the black doors on Campbell Ave and call our staff to assist: 773-770-3799.
