Midwest Access Coalition has partnered with Dorothy to offer an ongoing, free vending machine filled with sexual health and harm reduction items to any and all who visit the lesbian cocktail lounge. Join us for a night of celebrating the unveiling of the vending machine and an additional opportunity to fundraise for this incredible organization and the good work they do!
Midwest Access Coalition (MAC) is a practical abortion fund that helps people traveling to, from, and within the Midwest to access a safe, legal abortion. MAC offers personalized and compassionate support with lodging, transportation, food, childcare, medicine and more for folks that need to travel to access reproductive healthcare. Midwest Access Coalition also distributes free emergency contraception and other free sexual and reproductive health resources.
Your RSVP + donation for the night will 100% be donated to MAC. We will also be collecting additional donations for MAC night-of.
The event will be hosted by Dorothy's Creative Director Whitney LaMora and will feature performances fully donated to the evening's cause by:
Carmen Clementine
Mx. Monster Mutt
Kailah Peters

Sharmon XO

Arrive early for preshow music by MAC's own Nicole Lopez!
We will also hear from Midwest Access Coalition's Community and Events Manager Walker Fitz who helped organize the entire effort of obtaining and filling the vending machine. The night will also feature a pop up table by Jessica Malatia, our artist who painted the machine, inspired by vintage hand painted advertisements.
Doors for the night open at 6pm! Nicole begins at 6:30pm and our performances start at 7pm. Dorothy remains open until 10pm.
Dorothy is 21+ and required physical ID for all to enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Avenue. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, wait by the double doors on Campbell Ave and call our team at: 773-770-3799 and they will assist. Dorothy is a cashless establishment.
This event will include an air purifier thanks to Clean Air Club. Clean Air Club is a group of Chicagoans who love our music and arts scene and want to see it thrive. We believe that focusing on indoor air quality during an ongoing pandemic is one of the ways that we can protect the health and safety of everyone in this community. It’s good for performers, it’s good for us, and it’s good for the long-term health of our thriving creative scene. You can support their efforts by donating to their GoFundMe! Masks and pre-show testing are encouraged.
