La Leche League Monthly Meeting

We will have a discussion on the stated meeting topic, PLUS all of your questions will be answered whatever the topic!

DATE & LOCATION!!! Please note that after many years of meeting on the same day and in the same place, we are experimenting with a new day and new location. We hope you enjoy the result!

1. We will be meeting on the FIRST TUESDAY of each month! This is our fourth month on this day.

2. The meeting will be held in the tea room atthe back of the BUTTER LANE BAKE SHOP AND TEA HOUSE in Lynn Valley, on 3022 Mountain Hwy, across the street from Lynn Valley Village and close to Waves Coffee shop. We have been enjoying this space very much!

The bake and tea shop will be open, the meeting is in a separate room at the back. You are welcome to bring food and beverages purchased from the shop with you into the meeting room. We are very excited about this fun and interesting place to have our meeting and look forward to seeing you there!

PARKING: There is plenty of free parking at Lynn Valley Mall, above andunder ground.

Our group hosts another 10 am meeting each month,called a Follow-up, one week after our regular meeting, because one meeting a month just isn't enough!
This meeting is more informal and is usually held in various people's homes.
Call or email a Leader for the location and moreinformation about this or any meeting.
Everyone is welcome at Follow Up meetings, whether you have attended a main meeting or not.

If you are interested in breastfeeding, you are welcome to attend La Leche League meetings. Anytime is a good time to come to a meeting, whether you are pregnant, have a new baby or are needing support or information beyond the first few months. Babies and young children are always welcome. Some Groups include father/partners in some or all of their meetings; see the "Meeting For" category above or contact a local Leader for meeting details.

We discuss all breastfeeding-related topics at our meetings: from how and why to breastfeed, family life with a new baby, practical breastfeeding tips, nutrition, weaning and much more. Bring your breastfeeding questions and concerns, joys and challenges to share, or just listen if you prefer.

All La Leche League Canada Leaders are volunteers. We are experienced breastfeeding mothers who are trained to provide up-to-date breastfeeding information, encouragement and support.

For More Information: Contact a local La Leche League Leader for breastfeeding help or for more details about meetings. Please call during daytime/early evening hours if possible. For EMERGENCY situations please contact a healthcare provider in your community.
