Malinalli Garden Workshop Series: Mini Wallet Making w/ Nazz Ares

Join Jardín Malinalli & Fernanda of Nazz Ares for a special wallet/pouch making workshop in the Garden 👛

During this workshop, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind wallet-pouch that will only get better with time and use. We’ll be using veg-tanned leather and acrylic leather paint, as well as flowers picked from the garden to press into the wallets. With the guidance of Fernanda, you’ll learn some painting techniques, and how to work with the acrylic on leather’s surface. Each participant will take home a unique hand-painted, hand stitched wallet, perfect for your cards and cash or as a great gift to someone you love.

Fernanda Batista is a Product Designer by trade and is the founder and Creative Director of Nazz Ares, a handbag and accessories company based in Raleigh, North Carolina with products sold in stores around the world.

Inspired by watching her aunt hand craft beautiful items on a classic Singer sewing machine, Fernanda pursued and earned an Industrial Design scholarship at the renowned PUC University in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. She focuses her unique talent and world view in her design process and is interested in creating one of a kind pieces that bring joy, confidence and practicality to women with their everyday use. You can find her at ArtSpace, studio 103, where she produces handmade leather accessories from concept to completion.
