After a successful photography panel at SoHo House Chicago, panelist host and event organizer Colleen Mayer brings us an LGBTQIA+ focused photography panel to Dorothy on January 18th.
Witness a discussion between artists on their careers, working as an LGBTQIA+ individual, advice they have for blossoming photographers and artists and more.
Tickets are a sliding scale of $7-15.
Dorothy is 21+ and requires a physical ID for all who enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Avenue. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, please speak with our security person upon arrival for assistance.

Colleen Mayer @_giantess (she/her) is the founder of giantess creation, a creative content and photography brand dedicated to creating safe spaces. Colleen specializes in portraiture and loves to create characters & stories through her photography. Colleen has worked with musicians, non-profits and more all across chicago.
ABOUT THE PANELISTS
Ally Almore @allyalmorephoto (she/they) is a Mexican-American and Black queer woman and photographer from Pilsen, currently based on Chicago’s south-side. In her freelance practice, Ally is committed to sharing the stories and experiences of folks who are overlooked, silenced, and erased from mainstream arenas of representation in photography. A self described light chaser and a time stopper, her visuals are vibrant, colorful windows to radical joy, and proof of life beyond the binary. Inspired by the identities that make her whole, their work focuses primarily on documenting queer nightlife and communities in the city, and highlighting the very real impact that Black and Brown people have within these spaces/on the world. Outside of the club, Ally photographs a wide variety of events and portraits across the city.
Michael Izquierdo @izqueerdo (they/he) is a Chicago-based photographer who has been exploring the realm of creative portraiture and concert photography for the past three years. Originally a journalist, Michael picked up a camera during the pandemic to visually enhance stories when words felt trivial. Captivated by storytelling, their work focuses on capturing an intimate connection with their subjects and allowing them to fully express themselves to create colorful, dynamic and vulnerable images. Their work has been featured in Milk Studios, Chicago Reader, Cicero Independiente and more; along with having worked with clients like the Boka Restaurant Group, Live Nation, Photographer Tonight and more.
Cori Blck @coriblck (they/them) is a Chicago based portrait, boudoir, and nightlife photographer with a passion for queer representation in media. The twenty-seven year old started their journey at the age of sixteen, photographing friends and school events. Their lifelong love for fashion and cinema unlocked their passion for storytelling through imagery. For Cori, photography is about collaborating with and capturing the beauty of people in their community. Their goal is to provide a safe and accessible space for others to feel comfortable being themselves and capturing self expression in every form.. Cori is well known for their collaborations drag artists, sex workers, burlesque performers.
