Art Therapy Support Group

Learn how to use art expression as a coping strategy and contemplative practice alongside other survivors of sexual violence. Group members will practice how to find deeper understanding of difficult experiences, healing processes, and transitions. There is no expectation for trauma history disclosure or previous artmaking experience necessary. Group members will use art mediums of their choice.

This 8-week virtual support group is open to adult survivors 18+, who are IL residents, all genders welcome. Appropriate participants may be anyone who has experienced sexual violence, including harassment, abuse, or assault.
