Love Potion: a dreamy synth-pop Valentine's

LOVE POTION is Dorothy's Valentine's Day celebration - and officially the start to Dorothy's musical Monday's - a celebration of music, playlists, DJs and dancing every Monday at Dorothy.

We're kicking off our Valentine's Day strong with a partnership with Glendalough Rose Gin! Our talented bartender team will have three Glendalough Rose Gin based cocktails for the night - and the first 50 guests to arrive get a free cocktail from Glendalough!

Arrive early to secure your complimentary cocktail and to preview our first Dorothy-curated playlist celebrating synth pop that we'll be debuting for the next two weekends before getting ready to groove with DJ Veri Peri from 7-10pm!

From our DJ: I'm Veri Peri, a queer femme Miami-born, Chicago-raised Latine DJ. Like my queerness, my mixes don't fit into a box, ranging from synthwave, Italo disco, techno, electronic funk, and so much more. While I like to include a diverse set of genres in all of my mixes, the unifying theme always elicits a nostalgic, dream-like haze. LOVE POTION is here to entrance you with sounds of sensual nostalgia. I'd like to take our guests on a dreamy synth-pop ride, infusing sounds from the '60s, '70's and more with a lush synth twist. Let's groove.

This is a free RSVP event! RSVPs will be given entry priority for the first 30 minutes of the night, then we will allow anyone in up to capacity.

Dorothy is 21+ and requires a physical ID to enter. Dorothy is ADA accessible with lounge elevator access. Our entrance security person can help anyone with access upon arrival and our staff can assist with anyone leaving for the night.
