Where the Women Are - The Hallway Gallery Reception

The Hallway Gallery was founded in the Spring of 2021 by visual artist Britni Mara. Over the last year, Britni has felt inspired to use intimate and non-conventional spaces of residential buildings to highlight women and non-binary artists in Chicago. The first iteration of The Hallway Gallery took place in Britni’s building and has evolved into a pop-up style exhibition experience that will rotate around the Chicagoland area. Artists keep 100% of their profits, residents have the opportunity to engage with original artwork, and hallways are happier places.
