We're glad to announce our next Jerusalem Computer Vision and Deep Learning Meetup!
It's been a while, and we'll be meeting face to face in the open air.

This time we'll be discussing Deep Learning in medical imaging, from 2D images to a 3D model.

We'll be meeting at Alliance House near the Mahane Yehuda Market.

19:45-20:45 - Talk - Daniel Doktofsky , Algorithm Developer , RSIP Vision - From 2D images to a 3D model: Deep Learning in medical imaging.

Traditionally a CT scan is done prior to a joint replacement. We invite you to learn how cutting edge Deep Learning technologies are used to convert 2D X-rays images into 3D bone models, which is used insteadof the CT scan. In this lecture, we will go over the different algorithmic steps needed to generate the 3D model.
