Art After Work: Upcycled Art with Penny Pinch

Join Intuit for Art After Work, a sliding-scale facilitated art-making workshop series. This month Intuit is partnering with A Very Serious Gallery. Together Intuit and A Very Serious Gallery welcome Chicago artist Penny Pinch to facilitate a workshop inspired by their artistic practice. The workshop will take place at A Very Serious Gallery.

Upcycle Workshop Description

Chicago-based street artist, Penny Pinch, will lead the class in creating two pieces of artwork from 100% free, found and donated materials. Each person will create a graffiti-style wheatpaste poster and a found object "painting". Penny Pinch will discuss the value, importance and techniques of how to make art without spending money.
