Fruit Cocktail: SPILL THE TEA - an intentional queer tea dance & mixer

FRUIT COCKTAIL: spill the tea is the hottest new mixer tea dance party in town. Brought to you by the team behind Fruit Salad, Dorothy’s sellout queer open mic night, get ready to get down, get in conversation and spend an afternoon at your favorite lesbian cocktail lounge.

This event is designed intentionally to be available to a variety of community members and we want to invite anyone into our party. Caretakers, older generation queer folks, weekday or nighttime workers - this is for you!

Guests will have a chance to identify what they’re looking for by a simple playful button at the door: friendship! romance! community! or all of the above. Consent, respect, pronouns and positive communication will continue to be at the forefront of what we do!

SAFE ZONES at Fruit Cocktail: our door greeter, our host Rainn, Dorothy staff and our outside security teams are all somewhere to go should you feel unsafe or uncomfortable or have any questions about navigating the space and the night.

Doors for this event are at 4pm and this month’s feature DJ Ayo Nish! will be live! Ayo Nish! is a NY based Vibe Curator, where good vibes flourish and safe spaces emerge. With her innate ability to curate an undeniable sonic journey, Ayo Nish! is indeed a Different Type of Different. “Vibe With A Queen!”

Get here before 5pm where our host Rainn kicks off TEA TIME - an ice breaker of connection and conversation with your fellow cocktailers before we welcome Ayo Nish! back to the DJ booth from 5:30-7pm. Dorothy remains open after the event until 10pm!
