We're thrilled to bring a queer country night to life with two Chicago-based powerhouse country bands: Iris Marlowe & Olivia + The Lovers! Join us for a night of music.
Iris Marlowe is an alternative-country singer songwriter that uses her love of horror films and classic country music to create songs that intertwine those passions. Her latest album ‘Where the Devil Bid the Owl Goodbye’ features songs driven by revenge, terror, and a demon that feeds on the souls of cowboys. Iris Marlowe creates country music for the eccentrics and folks that are looking for something a little creepier in the country music landscape. @iris.marlowe
Calling all cowboys! Olivia and the Lovers are a new folk and blues band based in Chicago. Taking inspiration both from classic American folk music and cowboy standards, Olivia Love writes music as a vehicle for vulnerability, and reflections on queer love, loss, and healing. Her catchy and cathartic tunes are elevated by a group of truly gifted musicians, whose contributions propel the material into a realm that feels at once fresh and familiar. @oliviaandthelovers
