Join artist Kiki McGrath and the Fireplace community as we creatively contemplate the beauty of the season of Advent.
Advent is a season of waiting: we move through darkness toward the light of Christmas. Explore artmaking as a spiritual practice and create your own cut-paper luminaria. No previous experience with art or contemplation is necessary, only curiosity and a willingness to engage the creative process.
All supplies are included.
Suggested donation is $10-20.
After you sign up for your ticket, please contribute your donation to The FIreplace's fiscal sponsor, the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration here: https://http://www.fspa.org/donate-now.php. (Please say the title of the event and say "The Fireplace" in the comments.) Thank you!!
COVID19 precautions will be in place at this event. Please plan to wear a mask, socially distance and be prepared to show your vaccination card upon request. Thank you!
