Event Description

Directed by Jason Longtin, associate professor, music, "Chicago" is a musical crime comedy-drama. It explores the themes of celebrity, scandal and corruption in Chicago during the Jazz Age. "Chicago" centers on two murderesses, a vaudevillian and a housewife, who find themselves in jail together awaiting trial in 1920's Chicago.

Musical is based on the book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, based on the play by Maurine Dallas Watkins, script adaptation by David Thompson. "Chicago" is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. a Concord Theatricals Company. "Chicago" includes adult situations, adult language, simulated gun shots and is recommended for audiences age 14 and up.

Adult tickets $12, non-CF students $6, free for CF students, faculty and staff with valid ID.
