Films of the African Diaspora Experience (F.A.D.E.) is a seminar series dedicated to sharing stories and conversations that inspire change and incite action against racial injustice in America.
Upcoming seminars will focus discussions on George C. Wolfe’s MA RAINEY’S BLACK BOTTOM, Liz Garbus’ WHAT HAPPENED, MISS SIMONE?, and Howard Alk’s THE MURDER OF FRED HAMPTON.
Once you register, you will receive an email titled ‘F.A.D.E. Seminar Series Viewing Guide and Links’ which includes the following:
The F.A.D.E. Viewing Guide which contains supplementary materials for your review to gain a deeper understanding of each film’s significance;
Information on where to watch each film (also linked below). Although CF cannot provide direct access to the films, they are available through online streaming platforms;
Registration links for each of the live seminars! These meetings are your opportunity to ask questions and participate in a meaningful discussion about race in America.
