With empowering language and vibrant illustrations, this alphabet board book calls little ones to action with big and small steps that children can take to lead the way and become the next generation of activists.

Story time is designed for 2+ year olds who are ready to sit, listen, and participate, but children of all ages are welcome. Doors open at 10:15 am. Stories start at 10:30 a.m.

Veronica I. Arreola is a professional feminist, writer, and mom. She has contributed to a number of anthologies, including " Love Her, Love Her Not: The Hillary Paradox." Veronica is a newly elected police district councilor and lives in West Rogers Park with her college-aged daughter. She serves the University of Illinois at Chicago, her alma mater, as director of Hispanic Serving Institution Initiatives.
