Buy a board or two or three and as we play the trailers for Carol, But I'm A Cheerleader, Below Her Mouth, Saving Face, and nearly 50 more, mark the off the tropes! With prizes like bottles of mezcal from Del Maguey, a six person candle making experience from The Scent Queens, gift cards from Challengers Comics, exclusive VIP rental of Dorothy's lush Bed Lounge, a one-of-a-kind work of art from The Center of Order & Experimentation, and SO MUCH MORE! This event will mark the fundraising kick-off for the short film SAM WANTS HER SWEATER BACK!* with its writer/director Whitney Chitwood as your host. She'll be joined by a slew of the crew as your board dealers, prize dealers, drink queens, and of course the incomparable Dorothy staff!

ABOUT THE FILM AND THE TEAM

*SAM WANTS HER SWEATER BACK! is a gay as hell comedy about three queer friends who launch a half-witted heist to steal a sweater back from one of their exes! Queer and trans goofery brought to screen by a queer and trans creative team, SAM WANTS HER SWEATER BACK! is a delightful romp from denial to acceptance after being broken with and recovering from heartbreak thanks to the love of friends.

Writer/director Whitney Chitwood (she/they) is a comedian whose debut album premiered at #1 on iTunes and in Billboard's Top Ten. Currently her queer anti-western TV series KID is in development with Anarchists United (Lilly Wachowski). Director of Photography Moll Jean Nye (she/they) has worked with brands like the MCA, TIME MAGAZINE, NATIONAL PARKS SERVICE, and so much more!
