Event Description

Kick back for an evening of live music, comedy, and entertainment, all for a great cause! All proceeds will be donated to Bilal and Maryam, two young siblings living in Gaza who desperately need food, shelter, and clothing.

10% of all book sales during the evening will be donated to The Sameer Project.

Please note that masks are required for this event! Masks will be available if needed.

Emcee Pidgeon Pagonis has worked for over a decade as an intersex advocate, speaker, consultant, photographer and filmmaker to shed light on the human rights violations endured by intersex people. Their goal is to help end the non-consensual irreversible medical procedures meant to discipline unruly intersex bodies

**Featured Artists**

Suhaib Qasim is a 25-year old stand-up and sketch comedian based in Chicago. Suhaib started his comedy career as an improv performer and sketch writer at the Second City Chicago, graduating from the program in 2023. He now co-produces and hosts the Odd Mix Comedy Show and has been featured on showcases at the Lincoln Lodge, Broadway Comedy Club, St Marks Comedy Club, and West Side Comedy Club. Suhaib can be seen performing standup all over the Chicagoland area, as well as with his sketch group Off Pink Floyd, whose videos have garnered over 1M views on TikTok and Instagram.

Faayani Aboma is front-person of Chicago-based psych/jazz fusion band monoculture and organizer with the Chicago Alliance against racist and political repression.

The Nest (Michele Thomas, Emmy Bean, Stacy Rene Erenberg) is an emerging voice studio, and are known for their sweet vocal improvisations.

Lo Mutuc is the author of Oh the Moon and You Can't Kill Me Twice, provides the voice of Ruby from the animated Cartoon Network series Steven Universe, and speaks cursive fluently.
