OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of the activity, participants will be able to:
• Understand how to counsel patients about a "last resort" approach to postoperative opioid use
• Learn how to develop a multi-modal strategy for postoperative pain management
• Formulate strategies to minimize opioid prescriptions in all orthopaedic patients
