Sing-Along/DIY Light Show

Join Chicago Unite At Night every evening for information on the sing-along playlist and then share photos and videos of your neighborhood uniting at night in the group !

HOW: Make sure to join the group to vote on songs.
1) Check the group daily for the song(s) of the night and link to the Spotify playlist or Radio cohosts. Follow us on Spotify: https://bit.ly/ChicagoUniteAtNightSpotify
2) Share with friends, family, neighbors, your building management and other building around you. Tweet!
3) Gather lights (Disco balls, flash lights, holiday lights, whatever lights you can get a hold of. )
4) Hit play at 8PM sharp!
5) Sing your heart out inside, out on your balcony, where ever you are and flash your lights! If you're indoors, it's most effective to flash your indoor lights. If you have speakers, play for your neighborhood. If you keep doing it consistently, you'll start seeing other join.
5) After the song, Clap, cheer, make noise for our HEROES helping fight this fight for us.

Before our sing-along/DIY light show every night, we ask everyone to take a moment to reflect on why we do this during a time of tragedy:
We sing to connect as neighbors
We sing to celebrate our strength as a community
We sing to provide ourselves a moment of light in a dark time
We sing to bring awareness to the need for social distancing
We sing to remember the ones that are fighting for their lives
We sing to remember the ones that lost the battle
We sing to honor the heroes on the front line who are working to keep us going, keep us safe
Together we can make a difference so let’s keep singing Chicago! Please keep supporting & honoring the efforts in place, and especially the HEROES on the front line helping to fight this. Please give them a cheer after each song!
