Butch Social: a community gathering ft. DJ Ca$h Era

BUTCH SOCIAL returns in time for an end-of-summer bash with its first-ever mixer at Dorothy! Hosted by LOU BURROWS, Butch Social is a monthly meetup for Chicago-based butches, studs, and those who love them.

This month, we're taking over Dorothy for some sexy '70s lounge vibes, incredible cocktails, and the vibey beats of DJ CA$H ERA.

To keep the event butch-centered, 60% of tickets are reserved for butch/stud-identifying attendees. The remaining 40% are open to everyone! Wondering what butch means? Read here first.

Doors at 6pm & DJ Ca$h spins from 8-10pm.

ABOUT YOUR HOST & DJ

Lou Burrows (they/he) founded Butch Social last year in the hopes of finding a new butch best friend. What they got instead was a whole community of queers eager to find each other. Lou is a handy butch, a service butch, a butch dad, a butch writer, and more. They look forward to gathering butches every month for chats, companionship, love, and brotherhood.

A lover of community, connection, and all things Chicago, CaSera Heining, best known as DJ Ca$h Era, continues to shake the room as a multifaceted, internationally recognized, performer. DJ Ca$h Era is part of the Jordan Brand's Global Women's Collective , the official DJ for the Coulee Sisters, and current preferred and resident DJ for Chicago’s hottest venues like Broken Shaker, Scarlet Bar, The Promontory, Soho House, and more.

Dorothy is 21+ and requires physical ID for all to enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Avenue. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, please stop by Split-Rail for assistance or speak to our security person when you arrive at the Dorothy door.
