Event Description

In collaboration with the US Dept. of Commerce and the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) on the occasion of World Trade Month

Our distinguished speakers will discuss the growing importance of women leaders, who embody critical leadership traits, such as emotional intelligence, integrity, empathy, humility, and collaborative results orientation, needed to meet today’s unique and extraordinary challenges and harness them into constructive and beneficial solutions. The event will also have an Introductory Message by Gina M. Raimondo, U.S. of Secretary of Commerce.

Moderator: Nancy Ploeger, Executive Vice President, International Women's Entrepreneurial Challenge Awards

Keynote Speaker: Rep. Carolyn Maloney to speak about how she has helped the New York entrepreneurs, small- to medium-sized business flourish (to be invited)
