First Batch of Coca-Cola is Brewed - 1886

Invented in 1886 by John Pemberton, Coca-Cola is now the world's most valuable brand.

Coca-Cola was bought by businessman Asa Griggs Candler, who used marketing tactics to lead Coke into it's dominance of the soft-drink industry.

Coca-Cola produces concentrate which it then distributes to licensed Coca-Cola bottlers. They then take the concentrate, add filtered water and sweetener, and bottle the cants and bottles.

The Coca-Cola company has introduced other members into the family. Most notablyDiet Coke (my personal favorite) as wellas Caffeine-Free Coke, Cherry Coke and Coke Zero.
