Guardian Medical Essentials III is the final course in the medical series and will continue to build on the lesson learned in levels 1 & 2. The main emphasis of this course will be how to assess, treat, stabilize, and sustain a medical emergency in a remote/austere environment. With emergency response times being lengthy and emergencies occurring in remote/rural environments, we may be the only medical provider for an injured patient for an extended period of time. Having the knowledge and ability to treat and maintain a critically injured patient for a extend period may be the difference between life or death. Keeping with our motto of “Be Aware, Be Prepared”, this course will fill in the gaps, giving you confidence in your medical ability to sustain a critically injured patient, regardless of the location.

• Improvised Material Use for Splitting and Transport
• Wound Cleansing to prevent infection
• Basic wound closure procedures
