Low-Light Pistol Essentials will ground you in the basics of personal protection during times of limited visibility. We cannot predict when we may find ourselves in a violent encounter but understanding that when you find yourself in a fight for your life, lighting conditions may not be ideal, we must be able to persevere and solve the problem. This course will give you the ability to employ a high output flashlight to search, identify, distract, disorient, and stack the odds in your favor to protect yourself and those you care about. All aspects of limited visibility lighting employment will be covered in a classroom and live fire environment. Round out your Protective System with this course and be prepared, no matter the environment, if you find yourself in a violent encounter.

Reloading, Malfunction Clearance, and the Handheld Flashlight

Prerequisites: Defensive Pistol Series or Equivalent from a Reputable Training Academy

Equipment:
Carry Pistol – Recommended Mid to Full Size Pistol
Handheld Flashlight
Weapons Mounted Flashlight (Optional)
Your preferred carry holster – OWB, IWB, Appendix
3 Magazines – With At least One Magazine Carrier
Eye and Ear Protection
Rugged Clothing and Footwear
Appropriate Belt
Appropriate Cover Garment
