Don Matthews talks about how economists have been studying the economics of immigration for decades, in particular the effects of immigration on the wages and employment of native born workers in the U.S. How economists measure the economic effects of immigration, as well as key findings, will be presented in this talk. Don Mathews is Professor of Economics and Director of the Reg Murphy Center for Economic and Policy Studies at the College of Coastal Georgia. He received his PhD in Economics from Georgia State University and has been teaching economics at the College of Coastal Georgia since 1993. For more information call 912.262.6934
